Paul Leslie Grantham was buried by Scollen & Wright Funeral Service Ltd. The burial service was held at the Sunderland Cemetery Grangetown (also known as Grangetown Cemetery) the address is 28 Kitchener Terrace, Sunderland SR2 9RR I tried m8 to find out from Scollen and Wright where the grave is situated, but was told that due his family requesting total privacy, they must follow the Data Protection Act and can not give me any personal details about Leslie Grantham, But I did get them to confirm that Lesley is interned at the Sunderland Cemetery. I then Emailed the cemetery asking if they could tell me the plot number etc where Leslie's grave is. As yet no reply, it all seems a bit hush hush, only a few close family were at the funeral, anyone else including many of the Eastender stars and management were refused permission to attend. This cemetery looks massive and walking round to find 1 grave will be a mammoth task. At least you have a starting point, but it's along drive from the Southampton area. Hi Paul you past my ancestors grave at 7.43 in this cemetery. My grandfather and great grandparents watched the Titanic being launched in Belfast on her maiden voyage. A husband, wife and their child that were their neighbours lost their lives on the Titanic. Sadly other shipbuilders lost their lives building these White Star Line ships in Belfast and they are merely forgotten. I hope you felt a warm welcome in my wee country Norn Iron ⛴️

I remember she was working like mad before her death. She was literally doing every appearance on TV etc she could manage She made it very clear she wanted to leave a lot of money for her boys . ( which she did ). Very sad story ....
